Day 1: Welcome to Beijing, China
Upon your arrival at the Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jetlag.

Day 2: A Tour of Beijing’s Heritages
This morning you will take a short stroll on Tiananmen Square, once the largest square in the world stretching a vast 440,000 square meters. And discover the amazing Forbidden City with its palace complex of 9,999 buildings across 74 hectares, surrounded by a six meter deep moat and a ten meter wall. It gives new meaning to the word “epic”. In the afternoon, continue to visit the Summer Palace.

Day 3: Living Like a Beijinger
This half day private Hutong tour begins with the tea or hot soymilk, fired bread (youbing) or steamed buns (baozi) for breakfast at a local market. Onward, you will take the public transportation to a less traveled Hutong area, where you will do feel like a local by walking through the lanes. Enjoy the lunch at a local restaurant or local family (available on weekends only). Continue to admire the incredible Temple of Heaven.

Note: A light breakfast at your hotel is suggested in case the local breakfast is too much challenge for you.

Day 4: Incredible Great Wall at Mutianyu
Today’s full day private tour will take you to the awesome Great Wall (Mutianyu section, about 1.5 hours drive), the 8th Wonder of the World. Walking on the venerable ramparts, you will amaze at the unbelievable constructions and surrounding landscapes. Continue to a visit to the Sacred Road, an imperial path lined with stone statues of Ming Dynasty, and a Jade Gallery.

In the evening, you will have a chance to taste the awesome Peking duck at the famous Quanjude Restaurant.

Note: Tonight, if you’re interested, take in a thrilling Chinese Kung Fu Show as your optional entertainment.

Day 5: Saying Goodbye to Beijing
This day you will be free until your private guide & driver escort you to the airport for your onward flight.
